Baltimore City Council approves Harborplace development bills

The Harborplace redevelopment project is one step closer to final approval.Baltimore City Council passed a series of bills Monday to clear the way for the major Inner Harbor facelift.The bills will now go to Mayor Brandon Scott’s desk, where he is expected to sign them.One of those bills would allow residential buildings to be constructed on the waterfront. That would require a change to the city charter.Voters will decide whether or not that happens in November.
