The Amazon Black Friday Sale is almost over, but there is one fantastic LEGO set that’s still available. Amazon currently has the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express train set for $349.99. That’s $150, or 30%, off the original $400 MSRP. This is the first time we’ve ever seen a discount on this set (the expensive Harry Potter sets rarely are). This is an Amazon Lightning deal that’s expected to sell out quickly, and even if it doesn’t, it is set to expire by the end of tonight.

The LEGO Hogwarts Express is one of the most impressive Harry Potter sets out there, right up in line with Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle. This 1:32 scale model of the Hogwarts Express train from the movie series measures 47″ long, 8″ wide, and 11′ tall. That’s actually a perfect display size on a 4ft shelf. The set includes the train’s engine and two cars, plus platform 9 3/4. A crank on top of the engine turns the wheels, and buttons on the passenger car turn on lights inside to illuminate scenes from the films.

Speaking of which, the three train compartments each depict a scene from the movie: Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s very first encounter, Professor Lupin saving Harry from the Dementor in the third movie. and Luna saving Harry from Draco’s spell in the sixth movie. The set also includes 20 minifigures including multiple versions of the main characters, Ron, Hermione, Remus, Ginny, Draco, and a Dementor.

Since the set is currently on sale for $350 for 5,129 bricks, you’re paying about 6.8 cents per brick. That’s an excellent price for one of the most impressive LEGO Harry Potter sets around. It’s easily one of the best Black Friday LEGO deals we’ve seen for 2023.
