Ronnie Geesaman, Hazzard Electric employee


Ronnie Geesaman, 61, of Lewes passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at his home.  He was born Feb. 15, 1960, in Okinawa, Japan, son of the late Glenn Sr. and Mary (Walsen) Geesaman.

Ronnie attended Dover High School, and upon graduation, proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army.  Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked for various companies before settling at Hazzard Electric, where he dedicated more than 20 years of service.  Ronnie cherished time spent with those he held most dear.  He was a loving and devoted brother, uncle, and friend who will be genuinely missed by all who knew him.

Ronnie is survived by his brothers:  Glenn Geesaman Jr. of Charlestown, W.Va., Kenny Geesaman (Noreen) of Penfield, N.Y., and Dennis Geesaman (Kordy) of Georgetown; and his many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.  Ronnie will be privately laid to rest at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton. Social distancing must be observed and masks must be worn by all attending or participating in any aspect of the service.

A celebration of life reception will be held following the viewing Tuesday, May 25, from 3:15 to 5 p.m., at Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, 213 Anglers Road, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Ronnie’s memory to the Lewes Fire Department: 347 East Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
