9,000+ customers without power in parts of New Orleans
Parts of Treme, the Seventh Ward and the Bywater are affected.

Power has been restored to these customers. Earlier: More than 9,000 Entergy customers are experiencing a power outage. Several New Orleans neighborhoods are affected, including parts of the Seventh Ward, Treme and the Bywater. Entergy offcials say: “We are aware of a service interruption in the 9th Ward and Bywater neighborhoods, currently impacting approximately 7,300 customers. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. The cause is currently under investigation.”
